  *STILL I HOPE*  ✍️ Salim New year comes , I hum a new rhyme in my heart  To welcome you back in my life . Saddened to feel you are no longer mine ,  You failed in your words, You dishonored our love. The year changes , With that you change. Last year you made a promise ,  on the day of valentine's love ,  A rose you offered.. Your words still ring in my heart .. The rose may fade and die in time , Our love , time can't define. Still I hope , still I dream , You will come again on valentine's, With a red rose to honour your promise .  In the new year , I wish  Your sweet kiss ,I will not miss . And stop the festering sore to go gangrene. 

   WINTER  Salim  ✍️ Eh, winter stay , stay for a  few more days , We look for thy cool touch round the year. Thou can't depart so early . Here , in this part of India .. North east , Winter is most sought after , We have summer heat not so hot , We have rains not so scary , We have autumn very pleasing, A time of festivities, We have spring , oh, so much  pleasant, romantic, colorful, You can't imagine !!  We have winter of a short duration, That's the cause of lamentation, December ,novermber , January, Months trio , Northern winds blow , Not severe but mild , No iceflakes seen falling, No skatting on ice . It is the plain of Gangetic Bengal . Winter is celebrated with much fanfare and aplomb, Pous Mela , Makar Sankranti Mela , Are enjoyed in gay abandon , Cakes of myriad types , mouthwatering,  Oh,just can't ignore it!!  A picnic Time , We very much miss , Once winter gives a bidding kiss.
