*STILL I HOPE*

New year comes ,
I hum a new rhyme in my heart 
To welcome you back in my life .
Saddened to feel you are no longer mine , 
You failed in your words,
You dishonored our love.
The year changes ,
With that you change.
Last year you made a promise , 
on the day of valentine's love , 
A rose you offered..
Your words still ring in my heart ..
The rose may fade and die in time ,
Our love , time can't define.
Still I hope , still I dream ,
You will come again on valentine's,
With a red rose to honour your promise . 
In the new year , I wish 
Your sweet kiss ,I will not miss .
And stop the festering sore to go gangrene.
